Butterscotch Nut Refrigerator Cookies

2 cups brown sugar
1 cup margarine
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
Cream sugar and margarine. Beat in egg and vanilla.

4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup chopped nuts
Mix together then stir in first mixture. Form into long rolls and bake 8-10 minutes at 350.
