Custard Bread Pudding 1 qt. scalded milk 4 eggs 4 cups day old cubed bread 1/4 teaspoon salt 3 tablespoons margarine 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg Pour milk over bread, add salt & sugar. Beat eggs slightly & add to bread mixture w/butter, vanilla an nutmeg. Mix well. Bake 60 minutes in 325 oven until knife inserted near rim comes out clean.
