Frosting (Paulines)

2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup mile
Combine in saucepan - cook until thick.  Set aside & let cool completely.

1/2 cup Crisco shortening
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons vanilla (or other flavoring)
Mix together with above ingredients & beat with mixer (high speed) until smooth.

May be colored w/any color food coloring.
