Portuguese Bean Soup ham bone 6-8 hot Italian sausages (sliced) 2 15oz. beans - Kidney or Great Northern 1 large carrott cut large chunks 1/2 head cabbage thinly sliced 1 onion sliced 1 large can tomatoes (crushed) 1 potato salad Place all in large kettle, cover w/water & simmer several hours. For added flavor add cumin to taste.
