Snickerdoodles 1 cup shortening 1 1/2 cups sugar 2 eggs cream together with eggs. 2 3/4 cups flour 2 teaspoons cream of tartar 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt Sift together and add to creamed mixture. Chill dough at least 1 hour. 1 tablespoon sugar 2 teaspoons cinnamon Form into balls and roll in sugar & cinnamon. Bake 8-10 minutes at 400 on ungreased tins.
