Aunt Rhonda’s Sweet Pickles Wash pickles, cover w/following brine: 2 level tablespoons salt to each qt. water Let stand overnight. Take out and prick w/fork. Mix - 1 pint vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon celery seed, 1 pint water, 1/4 teaspoon cloves, 1 pint sugar and 1/2 teaspoon pickling spices. Bring to a boil and drop pickles into it and let simmer for a minute. Pack in jars, cover w/ liquid and seal hot.
